SEATTLE — Clise Properties bought a piece of land at 2224 Eighth Ave. in the Denny Triangle that is home to a La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel.
Property records show Clise paid $16.5 million for the seven-story hotel.
The seller is an entity called Malbco Holdings, which is managed by James and Holly Mulloy of Spokane Valley.
Clise already owns the rest of the land on the half block. On the parcel directly south of the hotel, Clise is planning a 39-story tower with 447 residential units, 7,400 square feet of retail space and 382 parking spaces.
