Washington State Housing Finance Commission hired Valeri Pate to lead its asset management and compliance division. She will oversee a team that monitors more than 900 affordable housing properties across the state. Pate worked at the commission from 2002 to 2006 managing its tax credit division. Since then she has worked at Enterprise Community Partners, Key Bank and Catholic Housing Services. The commission's staff of about 12 monitors more than 934 properties and 75,000 units, and inspects more than 250 properties annually.
