SEATTLE — Seattle Councilmember Mike O'Brien and the Office of Planning & Community Development are co-hosting a meeting Wednesday on “Encouraging Backyard Cottages and Mother-in-Law Units.”
It is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wallingford Community Senior Center, 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N.
This is the second of two meetings O'Brien has called to get feedback on how to remove barriers and develop more backyard cottages. O'Brien and OPCD staff will talk about potential code changes being explored to get more cottages.
