City eyes rules on moving homeless

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle City Council is set to consider an ordinance that would require 30 days' notice before clearing out homeless encampments.

KING-TV reports that the proposal calls for the 30 days' notice, during which time the city would need to offer housing, outreach services and basic garbage and sanitation services.
