SHA OKs housing deal with UW

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — The University of Washington and Seattle Housing Authority said they have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop affordable housing in the University District.

The first joint project will be on land owned by the UW at 42nd and Roosevelt. It will have 150 affordable units that will be restricted to people making 60 percent or less of area median income.
