Georgetown offices sells for $12M

SEATTLE — The Hathaway Building, at 5506 Sixth Ave. S. in Georgetown, has sold for $12.25 million, according to King County records. The seller was Puget Properties A Washington LLC, which acquired the property in 2013 for $4.6 million.

The buyers were two LLCs, Seattle Hathaway 75 and Seattle Hathaway 25, which are associated with Village Investment Partners of Belmont, California and local firm JSH Properties.

Ross Klinger and Tim Foster represented the seller. The deal was worth about $306 per square foot.

(Editor's note: This story has been changed to correct the per-square-foot price, and to add the names of the seller's representatives.)

Developed in 1982, the two-story office/industrial building has 40,029 square feet, according to the county. The almost 55,000-square-foot property includes two parking lots on the south side of the block. Tenants include Zuli Integrated Lighting Solutions and IDI Studio.
