The buyer was an LLC associated with SRM Development of Spokane.

After going on the market this spring, the Knights of Columbus property at 722 E. Union St. on Capitol Hill has sold for $18.5 million, according to King County records.

The buyer was SRMKOC LLC, which is associated with SRM Development of Spokane. Brokers were not announced.

Excluding the value of the building, which might be subject to landmarking, the deal was worth about $604 per square foot.

The corner property, at Harvard Avenue, totals 30,613 square feet, and is zoned up to 65 feet. The three-story building was constructed in 1912, with 33,708 square feet.

No new plans have been filed for the site.

Privately held SRM developed the Google campus in Kirkland, along with other projects in that city.

SRM was a partner with Merrill Gardens on a senior community in Ballard, and also developed the 212-unit Astro Apartments in Lower Queen Anne; the 234-unit Lyric on Capitol Hill; and the 262-unit Meyden in Bellevue at Bellevue Way and Main Street, among several others.

SRM also has an office in Kirkland.
