2 buildings voted city landmarks

SEATTLE — The City Council approved landmark designation ordinances for the Colonnade Hotel in downtown and Anhalt Hall in the University District, the city said in a press release.

The Colonnade Hotel at 107 Pine St. was constructed in 1900 as a four-story brick hotel. It was designed by Charles H. Bebb. The hotel was partially demolished and rebuilt in 1911 after regrading and removal of Denny Hill.
