Griffis buying 880 units at The Landing in Renton

  • The first half of the deal by Denver-based Griffis Residential has closed for $143 million.

    Fairfield Residential acquired the 8-acre site in 2006 and developed two large apartment complexes.

    The north block of the newly renamed Griffis Lake Washington apartments — at 1202 N. 10th Pl. in The Landing, Renton's large mixed-use development — has sold for $143 million, according to King County records.
