Real Estate Buzz: Sculpture park pays off for HAL
The Belltown apartment complex called La Scala sold for $21.2 million, or $155,000 per unit.
HAL Real Estate Investments Inc., which bought the 137-unit complex in 1995 for $11.2 million, sold to BRE Properties, said Frank Bosl, a CB Richard Ellis apartment broker who arranged the deal along with CB colleague Jon Hallgrimson.
