Parking: It's often hard to find and expensive to pay for. This is true not only for drivers circling aimlessly around downtown, but also for developers who have to factor parking requirements into their budgets and onto their sites.
Donald Shoup, a professor of urban planning at UCLA, will be in Bellevue Feb. 19 to discuss the impact of parking on real estate projects and cities. The event is hosted by the Urban Land Institute and starts at 11 a.m. in Meydenbauer Center. For more information, visit: http://northwest.uli.org/.
