SW HARBOR PROJECT, TERMINAL 5 EXPANSION (PACKAGE NO. 6)
Project description: Develop 120-acre site into container handling facility with new intermodal rail yard and support buildings. The project is an addition to Terminal 5, which is being developed into a world-class container handling facility for American President Lines. Major elements of Package 6 include: demolition, excavation, grading, construction of underground utilities, environmental remediation, construction of five buildings, railroad construction, signalization, site electrical and lighting, asphalt pavement, auger-cast pile concrete support structures, landfill cap, noise walls, concrete pavement, signage, pavement markings and fencing.
