This universally designed project was driven by the need to provide covered parking for a John Deere Gator and the desire for garden sheds to house yard tools and outdoor equipment. The design was challenged by the preservation of an old growth cedar stump that is an organic focal point, alive with native salal and huckleberry, nourished by the steady drip from a rain downspout that receives overflow water from a vegetated roof. A Trex boardwalk provides a flowing path that leads to vintage sliding barn doors with oversized handles that allow easy access into the garden sheds.
