The Wade Perrow Construction (WPC) design/build team had to recognize not just the obstacles of a major renovation of an occupied resort but also the challenges of meeting the needs of the user and owner at the Sun Mountain Resort.

The importance of having this facility not just meet the outdoor recreational needs but also fit and feel like it is incorporated into the surroundings required the daily input of all the team members.

The project began in March with the removal of snow and demolition of the existing pool and plaza area, and WPC made sure critical environmental and sensitive issues were addressed and incorporated into the project.

It concluded in July in time for scheduled special events and the tourist season.
