SB&Associates

SB&Associates is seeing a 10 to 20 percent increase over last year’s business volume, at least for the first two quarters of the year, according to President Jay Rood. The firm continues to seek projects outside the “typical” discipline box, he said, including taking the lead on design teams. The firm has added two people, bringing its staff size to 11.

Recent work includes transportation, transit, parks and recreation projects, as well as public schools, higher education campuses, libraries, aquatic facilities, athletic fields, public and military housing, urban forests and streetscapes. The firm continues to develop special expertise in the area of cultural and heritage landscape inventory, restoration and planning.
