Baker Middle School is tailored to a unique neighborhood context, where community connections and a forward-thinking curriculum elevate learning and student achievement.

The project was a replacement two-story school with outdoor recreational facilities. The economic use of concrete masonry for bearing and lateral resistance allowed for needed student programs and technology.

Durability and beauty balance with subtle shifts in color and texture in concrete block and brick veneer. This new building will be a lasting civic asset in large part due to innovative and practical use of masonry.
