Project description: The World Trade Center project has both public and private elements. The public phase of the project includes two buildings for the Port of Seattle. One of the buildings is a 328,670-square-foot parking garage that also is serving as a base for a six-story concrete office building now under construction for Wright Runstad, who will lease it to Visio Corp. The garage is being built with cast-in-place concrete. The second port building is four office stories in a cast-in-place concrete frame. It is 90,620 square feet and includes one level of parking.

Original contract amount: $21,733,864 (public portion).
Start of construction: Sept. 4, 1997.
Expected completion date: March 1999 (entire project, including Visio portion). The public portion was finished in October 1998.
