Project description: Grinding existing cement concrete pavement to eliminate wheel path rutting; replacing cement concrete pavement panels; clearing and grubbing; grading; draining; constructing retaining walls, noise wall and three new bridges; replacing rails on eight bridges; surfacing; constructing asphalt-treated permeable base, cement concrete and asphalt concrete pavement; erosion control and planting; constructing beam guardrail, precast and cast-in-place concrete barrier; pavement marking; permanent signing, sign bridges and cantilever sign structures; illumination; and surveillance control and driver information system on Interstate 5.
