Glass bottles banned on Las Vegas Strip
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Glass bottles and containers are no longer welcome among the throngs of tourists on Las Vegas Strip sidewalks.
Clark County commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday for the glass ban, which they say will reduce the litter and danger of shattered glass on walkways. Police said they've also seen a recent uptick in people using glass containers as weapons.
