5th Avenue Theatre

The 5th Avenue Theatre said David Armstrong, executive producer and artistic director, will step down at the end of the 2017/18 season after 18 years, and become artistic director emeritus, working as a consultant, advisor and frequent director at the theater. Managing Director Bernadine C. Griffin and Producing Artistic Director Bill Berry will now lead the 5th Avenue.

Lighting Design Lab

Seattle City Light named Irina Rasputnis executive director of the Lighting Design Lab. Rasputnis is certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions, and was with DesignLights Consortium in Medford, Mass. Lighting Design Lab is a commercial and industrial lighting validation and education service of SCL that works with contractors, utilities, designers and architects.

Semiahmoo Resort

Semiahmoo Resort, Golf and Spa in Blaine named Nicole Newton general manager. Newton has 30 years of experience in catering, conference services and banquets, and will oversee three restaurants, the spa and two golf courses. She previously worked at Semiahmoo before working at Columbia Hospitality and several Northwest hotels, including Hotel 1000, Sorrento Hotel and Willows Lodge.

Jones Soda Co.

Seattle-based Jones Soda Co. named Steve Gress executive vice president of U.S. sales. He has worked for Big Geyser and Vitamin Water, and opened his own distribution company, Exclusive Distribution, before being named executive vice president of New England Beverages. He will focus on building the Lemoncocco brand in the U.S.

Skagit Bank hired Andy Egloff as a commercial loan officer in the Burlington office. He has worked as a commercial lender for 13 years, primarily in Snohomish and Island counties.

Ashbaugh Beal

Leake

Ashbaugh Beal has hired Sean Leake as an associate in the Construction Law Group. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law.

MicroVision

MicroVision, a Redmond company focused on ultra-miniature projection display and sensing technology, named Perry Mulligan chief executive officer, replacing Alexander Tokman who resigned as CEO and director. Mulligan has been a director at MicroVision since 2010. Tokman remains as president through the end of the year. Mulligan was SVP of operations for Emulex and QLogic.

St. Germain

Joy St. Germain has been appointed Bellevue's human resources director. Bellevue has about 1,300 full-time employees. She was human resources director for Tacoma for 10 years, and also worked for Ecology as human resources director. Bellevue's previous human resources director, Kerry Sievers, retired in June.

Central Washington University

Kaykayoglu

Central Washington University has selected Ediz L. Kaykayoglu to serve as executive director of CWU's Office of International Studies. Kaykayoglu was director of education abroad at Kent State University, and has worked in higher education since 2003. He has a master's in computer technology from Kent State University.
