Ferguson Construction has announced a number of recent hires. Rick DeAlba and Michael Kelly have joined as project engineers, Craig LaBrie as estimator, and Mark Fairhart, Barney Melnrick and Darrell Johnson as project managers.

Abbott Construction

Jay L. Hall has been named vice president of corporate development at J.R. Abbott Construction Inc., a Seattle-based general contracting firm with projects throughout the United States. Founded in 1983 by John Abbott, the company's president, the firm yearly revenues of $50 million working for clients such as Wal-Mart, Graybar Electric Co., Weyerhaeuser, Sears, Home Base, and MultiCare Health System.

Bulloch Construction

Charles Gregory and Gina Mohr have joined Bulloch Construction Corporation as project managers. Cynthia Dodson has been appointed accounting manager. Bulloch Construction is a developer and contractor of commercial and residential projects.

Concrete Institute

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute will hold its 42nd Annual Convention and Exhibition on October 20-22 at the Stouffer Renaissance Orlando Resort. CITC of Washington

The board of directors of the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington installed new officers for the 1996/97 school year. Pat Ellwood of SME of Seattle will be the president.
