Foushee & Associates

Bellevue contractor Foushee & Associates has promoted Paul Santulli to project manager. Santulli joined the company last year as a project engineer. He graduated from Central Washington University with a bachelor's degree in construction management.

Crownover

Crownover Construction has added David Thiele as a project manager and Jerry Lytle as a project superintendent. Thiele holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Lytle has over 25 years of experience in commercial construction.

Burke Electric

Jim Walker has been retained by Burke Electric to oversee the firm's expansion of its Burke Communications arm into the data networking marketplace. Walker has 18 years of networking experience, primarily in the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) environments. He is certified as a networking professional by telecommunications association BICSI and has also been certified by several manufacturers. Burke Communications will market its fiber-optic and copper cabling services for single buildings, highrises and campus environments throughout the Northwest.

Corps of Engineers

Brig. Gen. Carl A. Strock has assumed command of the Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Portland. Strock will direct all corps water resource activities, military construction and environmental restoration programs in 14 states. He was previously assigned as commander and division engineer of the corps' Pacific Ocean Division at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Valley Electric

E. James Long, general manager of Valley Electric of Mount Vernon, has been named a Circle of Excellence Award winner by the TEGG Service Contractor Network. The award is the highest honor given to individuals who work for TEGG franchises. Valley Electric is the only qualified TEGG electrical testing and predictive maintenance contractor in the Seattle area.
