Christina Haring and Gary Luke have joined the Seattle office of the law firm Stoel Rives. Haring and Luke both practice in the firm's construction and design group. Haring's practice emphasizes construction and design litigation. Luke assists both public and private clients in a variety of construction matters.

Drury Construction has added Dan Firestine, Bob McDonald and Brian Russell to its office and field staff. Firestine, a Purdue University graduate, brings 16 years of jobsite management skills and public construction experience to the firm, including school and theater construction in other states. McDonald has been involved in many Kitsap County construction projects in recent years as a technical and field representative for Fred Hill Materials Co., suppliers of ready-mixed concrete and related products. Russell is an intern in project management while he completes his construction management degree at the University of Washington. Drury is based out of Poulsbo.
Tom Warfield has been hired as a sales representative in Ash Grove Cement Co.'s Bellevue office. In his new position, Warfield is responsible for cement sales to concrete ready-mix dealers and contractors. He has 13 years of sales experience.
Bob Salisbury has been hired as a marketing assistant and Matt Hays has been promoted to proposals manager in Lease Crutcher Lewis' marketing department. Salisbury has worked as an administrator for Chicago Title and Security First Mortgage. Hays has been with the firm since 1996. His new roles include writing proposals, coordinating proposed project teams, and internal/external communications.
Seattle's Short Cressman & Burgess has announced Charles R. Gossage has joined the law firm. Gossage will concentrate his practice on construction, suretyship, government contracts and bankruptcy laws. He also has experience in both state and federal courts, and holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University and a juris doctor from Pepperdine University.
The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington is holding several electrical continuing education classes in Bellevue in September. The list includes: "Grounding & Bonding" Sept. 12 and 14; "Residential Multi-Family Calculations" Sept. 16; "NEC Update" Sept. 19 and 21; "Transformers & Vaults" Sept. 24; "Limited Energy/Fire Alarm" Sept. 23 and 30; "Low Voltage" Sept. 23; "Journeyman Refresher" Sept. 25-Oct. 25; "NEC Calculations" Sept. 30; and "Residential Wiring" Sept. 30. Classes offered in other cities include "Trouble Shooting" Sept. 9 in Federal Way; "NEC Calculations" Sept. 16 in Everett; and "Prep for Journeyman Exam" Sept. 16 in Tacoma.
