Yandrich

Burlington-based Trico Companies made COO Michelle Hurteau a principal, and promoted Lisa Yandrich to administrative manager, Brian Jones to assistant project manager and Savannah Phillips to project engineer. Yandrich has more than 10 years of experience in human resources, technical and business support. She holds a bachelor's degree in humanities and social sciences from Western Washington University. Jones has 14 years of architectural design experience on supermarkets and commercial and food processing projects, and five years of construction and management experience on retail, supermarkets and cold storage. He's a LEED Green Associate and holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Idaho. Phillips holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, and has interned at several general contracting and civil engineering firms.

Compton Lumber

Seattle's Compton Lumber is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The company was founded by Horace F. Compton, who got his start working at the lumber mill run by Seattle pioneer David F. Denny. The company is now run by Horace's great grandson, John Compton, in the Sodo area.

Portland CFMA

The Portland Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association appointed Patricia Dunn to the 2017-18 Executive Committee. Dunn is CFO for Siteworks Design|Build in Portland. She has been a member since 2009, is a past chapter president, and served on the Education Committee and board of directors.

Apollo

Apollo Mechanical Contractors and Apollo Inc. have logged a .038 experience modification rate, the lowest of all construction contractors in Washington for the eighth straight year, according to the Kennewick-based firms.

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County

More than 800 supporters of Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County helped raise more than $690,000 at Habitat's 2017 Beyond the Build Luncheon held last month in Seattle. Funds raised will help support Habitat's home ownership, home repair and community revitalization programs. Volunteer Bob Moore was recognized at the luncheon for this longterm support of the organization.
