Radford Court: modernist take on student housing

    Units at Radford Court emphasize a human scale, and some feature terraced patios. Materials range from industrial to traditional, with corrugated metal in a leading role.

    There’s a surprise tucked into the hillside between Windermere, a single-family neighborhood in Northeast Seattle, and the great expanse of Sand Point Magnuson Park. It’s an entirely new neighborhood, designed and built to serve the growing population of University of Washington students, faculty and staff.
