At Sea-Tac Airport, American Express has opened a smaller version of the upscale airport venues it calls Centurion Lounges.
The 3,100-square-foot space is called Centurion Studio and it is across from Gate B3.
An American Express spokeswoman said there wasn't enough space at Sea-Tac to build a full-scale lounge. One lounge that opened last year in San Francisco is 8,200 square feet.
People who have Platinum and Centurion cards get free access, along with snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi and charging stations.
Centurion Studio is open 5 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. It was designed by the American Express Brand Identity team and built by Turner Construction.
American Express operates Centurion Lounges in Las Vegas, Dallas, New York, San Francisco and Miami.
