SEATTLE — The city of Seattle wants the public to comment on the draft environmental impact statement for the waterfront redevelopment.
Work could include a redesigned Alaskan Way, a promenade and Overlook Walk connecting the waterfront and Pike Place Market.
The draft EIS is at waterfrontseattle.org.
Send comments by Aug. 12 to the website, by email to deis@waterfrontseattle.org, or by mail to AWPOW – Draft EIS Comments, Seattle Department of Transportation, c/o Mark Mazzola, Environmental Manager, P.O. Box 34996, Seattle, WA 98124-4996.
A public meeting is scheduled for 4:30-7:30 p.m. July 22 at Seattle City Hall.
