It's done. The pieces and parts that will go into the post-viaduct Alaskan Way were presented for the last time this month to the Seattle Design Commission, clearing the way for final construction documents and approvals.
James Corner Field Operations' design for Alaskan Way makes the waterfront an important piece of infrastructure for Seattle, emphasizing the experience of people on their feet and making new visual connections between Elliott Bay and city streets.
