1918 UW Canoe House nominated as landmark

The Canoe House was originally constructed as a Naval Training Camp hangar. The UW wants to rehab the building.

Seattle's Landmarks Preservation Board on Wednesday voted to nominate as a city landmark the Canoe House at the University of Washington, but declined to nominate Mackenzie Hall, also on the campus.
