SEATTLE — The city of Seattle has released the draft environmental impact statement for accessory dwelling units in single-family zones and is taking public comments until June 25.
The draft EIS examines potential impacts of proposed land use code changes for ADUs.
To learn more about the proposal and provide feedback go to http://www.seattle.gov/council/ADU-EIS. After the comment period, the city will prepare a final EIS.
There will be a hearing on the draft and an open house on Thursday, May 31, in Seattle City Hall, 600 Fourth Ave., in the Bertha Knight Landes Room. The open house begins at 5:30 p.m. and the public hearing is at 6:30.
