In Seattle, Degenkolb Engineers hired Lisette Terry as a project engineer and Tiffany La and Sarah Bergquist as designers. Terry has over a decade of experience specializing in structural forensics engineering and leads forensics efforts in the Northwest. She focuses on structural damage assessments and damage investigations for property losses including fire, vehicle strike, water intrusion and foundation settlement, and is an expert witness. La holds a master's in structural engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and is assisting with the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe's tsunami evacuation tower and the University of Washington's URM seismic improvements program. Bergquist holds a master's in civil engineering from the UW and is assisting with a renovation and seismic retrofit of the Old Main Building and the historic Fine Arts Building at Mount Vernon High School. Degenkolb provides structural and seismic engineering.
