PORTLAND — David Evans and Associates, a Portland-based professional services firm, on Friday acquired CHS Engineers of Bellevue. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“With the addition of the CHS team, we are now able to meet more of our client needs in water and wastewater engineering,” said Al Barkouli, CEO of David Evans and Associates, in a news release.
CHS specializes in civil engineering and land surveying for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. It has designed, surveyed and managed construction of a range of multi-million dollar projects throughout western Washington. Clients include cities, towns, special-purpose districts, private water purveyors and land development companies.
David Evans and Associates has 30 offices nationwide and employs over 800 staff. It designs transportation, water, land, energy and marine infrastructure systems.
