Seattle architect Johnpaul Jones honored

Opened in 2015, weleb?altx - Intellectual House is a Coast Salish longhouse-style facility that provides a welcoming learning and gathering space for Native American students, faculty, staff and regional indigenous communities on the University of Washington Seattle campus. Jones & Jones provided architecture and landscape architecture design. Johnpaul Jones was principal-in-charge.

Johnpaul Jones, a founding partner of Jones & Jones Architects and Landscape Architects in Seattle, received the 2021 Tau Sigma Delta Gold Medal, which recognizes professionals with a record of high distinction in architecture, landscape architecture or other design disciplines.
