SEATTLE — Seattle Parks and Recreation's gardening team has installed a new native pollinator patch/garden near the parking lot exit at Ballard's Golden Gardens Park.
Parks says the new drought tolerant planting will provide a colorful display all summer long and encourage birds and insects to come to the park. Pollinators are crucial to the health of the city's urban ecosystems.
