New pedestrian and bike bridge being set this week near Chehalis

The bridge will separate pedestrians, bicyclists and equestrians from vehicles on SR 6.

The state Department of Transportation is closing a 3-mile section of state Route 6 in Lewis County tonight so that crews can begin installation of a bike and pedestrian bridge over the highway in the unincorporated community of Littell, about 5 miles west of Chehalis.
