Applications open for African American heritage grant

Byrd Barr Place received a grant last year for renovation of its headquarters at historic Fire Station 23.

Applications are now open for the 2023 cycle of the National Trust's African American Cultural Action Fund. This fund supports capital projects, organizational capacity building, project planning, and programming and interpretation for historic places representing African American cultural heritage.
