Seattle firm designs prefabricated fire station in Orange County

A series of 12-foot steel cube modules make up the station.

In December, the Orange County Fire Authority began operations at an innovative fire station designed by Seattle architect Wittman Estes. The new 4,667-square-foot station, Rancho Mission Viejo Fire Station 67, stands out for its modular construction and design and can be assembled on-site in a single day.
