New library east of Portland would be county's 2nd largest

The main entry plaza to the library will have public gathering spaces.

Renderings unveiled last week by Multnomah County Library show what the Portland area's second largest library could look like. These schematic designs for the 95,000-square-foot library are now being finalized by Adjaye Associates and Holst Architecture.
