Harell orders more cherry trees

SEATTLE — On Friday, Mayor Bruce Harrell announced that he has directed the city's Office of the Waterfront to plant 24 new cherry blossom trees.

Eight of these will replace declining cherry blossoms planted outside the entrance to Pike Place Market along Pike Street between First and Second avenues in 1980.
