Installation honoring Coast Salish peoples debuts at City Hall Park

“Monuments” comprises a series of interviews projected onto trees in downtown Seattle’s City Hall Park.

On Tuesday, a new site-responsive multimedia art installation called “Monuments” debuted at City Hall Park. Created by renowned Australian artist Craig Walsh, “Monuments” encompasses a series of night-time projections onto trees, transforming them into what the artist calls “sculptural monuments.”
