SCC helps homeless people get work

SEATTLE — Seattle Conservation Corps has been designated an apprenticeship preparation program by the state Department of Labor & Industries.

SCC is operated by Seattle Parks and Recreation and offers a year of paid job training to more than 75 homeless adults every year. The program helps graduates find construction work with local trade unions.
