$56M to help nursing homes

SEATTLE — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has begun distributing 191 payments totaling $56 million to skilled nursing facilities in Washington to help them combat the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic.

The funds will support nursing homes with significant expenses or lost revenue attributable to the pandemic, HHS said in a press release.
