REDMOND — Microsoft announced last week that it has so far allocated $583 million toward the preservation and creation of approximately 9,200 housing units in the Puget Sound region, including $73 million in affordable housing investments and grants.
The allocation is part of the company's Affordable Housing Initiative, announced three years ago to help address the region's growing housing and homelessness crisis through a commitment of $750 million in grants and investments.
