Nimitz VR experience comes to Seafair

SEATTLE — Seafair returns to Seattle this month following a two-year hiatus.

New for patrons to enjoy this year is the Nimitz, a mobile, state-of-the-art virtual reality experience hosted by the U.S. Navy. On Aug. 5 through 7, the Navy will showcase the Nimitz, which simulates a high-speed extraction of Navy SEALS under fire.
