Locals make list for James Beard awards

SEATTLE — Thirteen chefs and restaurants in Washington state have made the list of semifinalists for the James Beard Foundation's 2023 Restaurant and Chef Awards.

These prestigious national honors are often referred to as the Oscars of culinary awards. Finalists will be announced March 29; the winners will be named on June 5 in Chicago.
