Seed-coating plant opens in Oregon

TANGENT, Ore. (AP) — A new seed-coating plant will allow Oregon grass seed farmers to protect their product locally instead of shipping it out of state.

Nick Tichinin says he started Oregon Seed Enhancement after visiting farmers on sales trips and learning they had to send their harvest elsewhere for treatment.
