Port of Everett upgrading dock

EVERETT — Orion Marine Group today is starting construction of improvements to the Port of Everett's dolphin berth at the South Terminal.

The upgrades will allow the berth to accept vessels up to 869 feet in length, including roll-on/roll-off ships that carry wheeled cargo. Ro/ro ships have built-in ramps that allow the cargo to efficiently move on and off.
