ISSAQUAH (AP) — Washington state Transportation Department bridge engineers have decided to replace an Interstate 90 overpass girder in Issaquah that was damaged last month when a too-tall garbage truck hit the overpass. The truck punched a large hole in one girder.
Transportation Department official Dave McCormick says it's expected to cost $1.2 million to replace the girder on the Front Street overpass. Construction is to start later this year.
