SPOKANE (AP) — Improvements to sidewalks and handicapped-accessible curb ramps are being made for transit riders in Spokane as part of a new project.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/1FjA0nB ) that city officials say that 139 curb ramps, 1,600 square yards of sidewalk, 75 square yards of pavement patching and other items are part of the work that has just gotten underway.
