Kirkland's last trailer park displaced by high-end homes

  • Seniors, veterans and families are facing eviction by Texas developer PSW Real Estate.

    • KIRKLAND (AP) — Seniors, veterans and families are facing eviction as a developer plans to build 19 high-end homes on the site of their mobile-home park in Kirkland.

    The Seattle Times reports that 32 families will be displaced from Kirkland's only mobile-home park, including older couples on fixed incomes, four veterans, two disabled people and young families with children.
